Even though mental health has become more openly discussed in society, it’s still stigmatized as being “mental” or “crazy”. This talented artist, Shaun Coss, has given himsel a mission. This mission includes providing people with an insight of what it is like to live with the illnesses, disorders and phobias.

These drawings are quite dark and sinister and capture the dreadful human conditions perfectly.

Every October, artists from all over the world take on the InkTober drawing challenge by doing one ink drawing a day the entire month.

Just like every year, the participating artists are given prompts for every day of the month to follow. And illustrator Shawn Coss has decided to use the month of October to get serious and talk about the mental illness and disorders.
